Mira is a relaxed, everyday skirt with an easy pull-on fit and a clean, modern silhouette. Designed for comfort and simplicity, it’s perfect for everything from warm-weather errands to casual lunches, travel days, and everyday wear. The silhouette is easygoing but intentional, making Mira a versatile addition to a handmade wardrobe.

Mira features an elasticated waistband with an optional drawstring, roomy pockets integrated into the side seams, and a clean hem. The simple construction makes it a great project for beginners, while the finished skirt is polished enough to wear again and again.

Suggested Fabrics: Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics such as linen, linen blends, cotton lawn, cotton poplin, chambray, double gauze and lightweight denim. Fabrics with more body will create a cleaner silhouette, while softer fabrics will create a more relaxed look. Very drapey fabrics are not recommended.

Sample Fabrics: 190 gsm (5.6 oz/yd2) linen-cotton blend woven (55% linen, 45% cotton).
